Our Belief

Justice Reform Begins with Leadership

We believe meaningful justice reform begins with courageous, principled leadership. Because of this, we partner with African leaders committed to strengthening justice in their nations through the Africa Chief Justices’ ADR Forum and our judicial trainings. We support their vision for justice reform and look for ways to come alongside them in advancing it.

Africa Chief Justice's ADR Forum

The Africa Chief Justices’ ADR Forum (ACJADRF) brings together Chief Justices and judicial leaders across the continent who are committed to strengthening alternative dispute resolution within their country's judicial system. Through the Forum, leaders share best practices, participate in regional convenings and trainings, and advance the use of mediation, arbitration, and plea bargaining in their systems.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Trainings

We strengthen justice systems by equipping judicial leaders with practical, contextually grounded tools. Through regional convening, we offer country-specific trainings in ADR mechanisms, including plea bargaining and commercial mediation.

By investing in practical skills and sustainable frameworks, we support reforms that not only reduce backlog but also enhance fairness, efficiency, and public confidence in the courts.

Anti-Human Trafficking Initiatives

Human trafficking is a profound violation of human dignity and a breakdown of the rule of law. Addressing it requires strong legal systems, informed practitioners, and coordinated action across institutions.
